I am a real estate attorney who advises clients and lenders in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate matters, land use planning, and estate planning. I frequently represent clients before each of Nantucket’s Administrative Boards including The Zoning Board of Appeals, Historic District Commission, Conservation Commission, and Planning Board. I occasionally represent clients in real property disputes and litigation. In addition, I represent clients In the Nantucket Probate Court In matters ranging from probate and ancillary probate to Guardianship proceedings.
I grew up In Glen Falls, New York and I am a 1992 graduate of Glens Falls High School. I graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York in 1996 where I earned my degree with a double major in Government and Environmental Science. While at St. Lawrence I was also a starting running back on the varsity football team. I received my J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts In 2003. While attending Northeastern I was able to develop my legal skills in the Cooperative Education Program by accepting positions at various employers from Boston Massachusetts to Juneau Alaska.
I have lived and practiced law on Nantucket since 2004 and have been an active volunteer in the Nantucket Community.
